A Hazy Friday Morning

It is a grey day here by the ocean, with the fog relaxing on the sea and the waves crashing in slow motion. It is grey yet crystal clear. The breeze coming in through the window is soft and moist, and the freshest to be tasted. Everything is still, and all that can be heard is the calming roar as the tide comes in. The Farralons are hidden and there are no barges in site. It is an empty yet compelling stage and I could watch this non-action all day long.
